Kids Short : Daddy & The Chinese Men ... - Pt 1 - by A.B.King

Once upon a time in the windy city of Chicago, all was the same as usual as any school morning in the wonderful Christian household of the Johnsons.
That was until Dad broke the News when they where all seated down to have Breakfast that he had been fired from his job the previous day.
Mum’s spoon dropped from her hand. Their pet dog lifted up it’s head & rose quickly like it understood English a little more than any dog should have the ability to do so. The two boys and little girl God blessed the couple with all heard their own hearts skip in unison as glances passed across the table from one to another like a ricocheting tennis ball.
Even though the range of the ages of the kids was between 6 to 12, they all understood to various extents the gravity of the situation.
After a few tense, on edge, and self-control grasping moments of articulating both inarticulate words as well as articulate words without one curse word or insulting remark flying forth, Mum crossed across the table, kissed her husband on his cheek and held both his hands; calming him down and sending waves of warmth, assurance and support throughout his entire body.
“We would figure this out” She said looking straight into the eyes of the man she adored with her big blue eyes that unveiled sincerity and the disappointment created by the News vanishing away and being replaced by something else: Hope.
Hope ushered in by love & trust. Her Love for him & Her Trust in him: her husband.
She was a wise and understanding wife. A devoted wife. A wife who didn’t fall into the trap of women of her day who think it is degrading and a crime against Women’s Rights for a wife to submit to her husband. Thus, they rebel against God’s blueprint for marriage and their lives are laced with unending strings of unhappy marriages and multiple divorces until Life itself does them part.
That was not to be Mrs. Johnson’s story. Although she was young, she was wise. She didn’t follow the trendy path that leads to unhappiness. She choose God’s Path. The path that declares The Man the captain of the ship of any marriage, and the woman his Right Hand.
Mr. Johnson couldn’t help but bust out in tears as he stared into the eyes of Mrs. Johnson whose eyes had just begun to water up too as a fountain of love & joy bust forth delightfully from the depth of her heart like a volcanic eruption over stuffed with streams of peace rather than hot magma.

Say this prayer if you’ve never given your heart to Jesus before and mean it with all your heart:
“Dear God, I come to you in the name of Jesus. Your word says that, ‘… whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved’ (Acts 2:21). So now I call upon the name of Jesus, and I ask that you save me. I ask Jesus to come into my heart to be the Lord of my life. I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the son of God. I believe he came, died and rose from the dead to set me free from sin and to reconcile me with you, Father. I receive eternal life into my spirit now. I thank you because now I am saved. I am now Born – Again. I am now one of your kids.”

“Dear Father God, I ask for your mercy and forgiveness for turning my back on you. I come back to you today in total sincerity and like the parable of the prodigal son, I thank you for receiving me back with Joy and Gladness.
I confess that Jesus Christ is the lord of my life and God the father is my Daddy. Hallelujah!”

“Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for making me born again. Your word says that you would freely give the Holy Spirit to all those who ask (Luke 11: 13). I ask that you give me your Holy Spirit to live in me. And as I’ve asked I’ve also receive by faith. I thank you Father for your precious gift. In Jesus name. Amen.”

Rather Than Hate The Rich, Become Rich - a poem by Alfred

Crucify the Rich, Burn them at the Stake/
Punish them for succeeding, where the rest of us has failed/

I hate Rich people, even though I work all day/
I'm sure it's no so I could be Rich some day/

Madiba Says - a poem by Alfred

Success awaits every man at the top of the hill/
But after she shakes your hands, you see another hill/
New hills grow taller if you pause to sleep/
Success has feet, she can just get up and leave/
A Real Leader must love this people more than he loves himself/
And be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for them/
He must be dead to self, and live for them/
Otherwise he might ruin them while saving himself/
Freedom doesn't mean having no chains on your wrists/
It struts forward to mean liberating others wrists/
So if you don't liberate others you're imprisoned yourself/
The walls are invisible but they are still there/
Education is the most powerful W.M.D/
To destroy the destruction of humanity/
Don't judge me by conquered Mountain Tops/
Judge me by the times I fell and got back up/

The Quotes By Nelson Mandela That Inspired This Poem:
1)  After climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb.
2)  Real leaders must be ready to sacrifice …
