Why Some Men Try To Be Chivalrous And Fail: Where Is Your Chivalry? - by Alfred

A Gentleman's character is built on placing all women on a pedestal and being wise enough to understand why it is a great honour to do so and not an imposition.

A Gentleman understands Roles & Responsibilities.

It is only the understanding of Roles & Responsibilities that would keep a Gentleman faithful to being a Gentleman.
Without this, a man would find it difficult or even impossible to be a Gentleman.

A Gentleman understands it is his ROLE to be the man: the Gallant one, the Protector, the One who looks after the women and children.

He understands it is his responsibly to protect women, to take care of or look after all women in his circle or association, to be chivalrous to all women, to honour all women as the fountains of life that they are; without which humanity would end because they are the cause of the continuance of humanity as only they can give birth (or bring forth humans into this world).

All Alfredonian Chivalry can be summarized into treating all women as Queens and treating all men as Kings.

So I'm sure you can now guess the summary of the role of the woman. Her role is that of a queen to a king she isn't married to (unless of cause the Gentleman in question is her husband).

Her responsibility is to treat every Gentleman as a king.

As a Gentleman I'm overjoyed to say that the responsibilities of a queen to a king she isn't married to isn't much at all. She just has to honour and respect him. That's All.

That means she doesn't treat him like an equal but as a distinguished guest or host wherever they are or no matter how long they've known each other.
She understands that it is her responsibility to either play the Gracious Host or Appreciative Guest whenever she is with him irrespective of where they are.

However, the ROLE of a queen to a king she is married to is the Role of the Pleaser.
Her responsibility is to Please him in all things. ALL THINGS.... and I mean all things.
You know, whatever you're thinking of. Yes, that! And everything else as well. Everything.

Everything and Anything that would please your husband but wouldn't cause you any physical harm is your responsibility to do.

That means if you notice your husband is sad, it is your responsibility to cheer him up & ensure you succeed in cheering him up. Otherwise you insult your purpose in the marriage.

If you notice your husband is thirsty, it is your responsibility to get him a drink or ask your maid or one of your kids to do so. Otherwise you insult your purpose in the marriage.

If you notice your husband has had a hard day at work, it is your responsibility to see to it that you make things easy for him and he is allowed to rest. Otherwise you insult your purpose in the marriage.

If you notice your husband is watching a football game that was previously understood & agreed that he would watch at that time, it is your responsibility to allow him enjoy himself or join him and enjoy yourselves & the Game together. Otherwise you insult your purpose in the marriage.

It is ignorance or refusal to understand & embrace Roles & Responsibilities in marriage that is the reason for divorces.

Mark my words. A home where everyone understands and embraces their Roles & Responsibilities would never know divorce.

Crucify the Rich, Burn them at the Stake/
