Shopping At The Bookshop (Unreleased Song) - by Alfred

Verse One:
Oh! I can't wait to buy new buddies/
From the bookshop and I don't mean the funnies/
Info gets outdated and I need an update/
Without it, I'll be at a disadvantage/
With viruses that crop up seeking to engage/
Me, with battle strategies that's all new to me/
Leveling the walls that once surrounded me/
And knocking me out with no pain relief/
I don't want to be the fool, hunched in grief/
Because he invested the way he did just last week/
That it worked last week doesn't bless it 4 this week/
I should believe what Napoleon believed/
Situational awareness is the key/
To defeating enemies with whom U compete/
I'm gonna take a large percentage of the market share/
From where I sit with my laptop on my arm chair/

Verse Two:
Tis it's true, I'm in love with books/
Some people speak but, studying is what I do/
I browse through the shelves meticulously/
A robot couldn't work with such accuracy/
Analyzing forwards on business books/
Turning it backwards & studying it too/
Checking the table of contents to see something new/
Quickly glance at sentences as I flip through/
It's alright, YELP! I'm taking this book/
I am so so obsessed with business books/
I march unto the section for Christian Novels/
My favorite authors new release calls to/
My heart which blushes as I coo/
I'm a sucker for Christian Romance books/
A great sucker for suspense and adventure too/
Oh! What could be better than reading a book?/

Verse Three:
I walk with a grin to my bedroom/
What a day, shopping really gets to you/
After a quick rest, I pull out the books/
I'm like thank you Lord, this day is good/
Because I have you, and you are good/
God makes my life, easy, smooth & cool/
After a quick snack, I sit back/
Then re-examine the front & back/
Of the book my mind is about to attack/
Suddenly, like a bust of wind's sneak attack/
I'm enraptured and I don't think I'm coming back/
I'm in a land of adventure, how cool is that/
The Hero, The Chosen one, Mr. Save the world/
I always win at the end I'm on top of the world/
Business books are my frontal lobes heartthrob/
I drink 'em like coffee from a diamond cup/

Let's not rename Genocide, and call it Parental Planning/

The decision to Live or Die belongs to the Life involved/
How dare you choose Death without hearing the Baby's voice/
The Pro-Choice movement is Anti-Choice/

Our Boys In Blue - a poem by Alfred

Through Cold or Heat, Through Strength or Pain/
They Carry our Troubles, All Night, All Day/
They Risk their Future, To Keep us Safe/
Have you said a Prayer, For a Cop today?/
Without Police, No one would be Safe/
Bodies would paint the Street like Syria Today/
After the West played Chess and won the Game/
Have you said a Prayer, For a Cop today?/
Without Police in America, today/
Your Head and Your Body could be in different States/
One Part in Alabama, The Other part Up-State/
Have you said a Prayer, For a Cop today?/
We owe our Lives to Our Boys In Blue/
They carry the weight of the Red, White, and Blue/
And make it a Nation all Nations come to/
Have you said Thanks, To a Cop today?/

Why You Should Share This Post:  Because unlike some people, we Love & Respect those who risk their lives for us everyday.

Madiba Says - a poem by Alfred

Success awaits every man at the top of the hill/
But after she shakes your hands, you see another hill/
New hills grow taller if you pause to sleep/
Success has feet, she can just get up and leave/
A Real Leader must love this people more than he loves himself/
And be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for them/
He must be dead to self, and live for them/
Otherwise he might ruin them while saving himself/
Freedom doesn't mean having no chains on your wrists/
It struts forward to mean liberating others wrists/
So if you don't liberate others you're imprisoned yourself/
The walls are invisible but they are still there/
Education is the most powerful W.M.D/
To destroy the destruction of humanity/
Don't judge me by conquered Mountain Tops/
Judge me by the times I fell and got back up/

The Quotes By Nelson Mandela That Inspired This Poem:
1)  After climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hills to climb.
2)  Real leaders must be ready to sacrifice …
