A Gentleman Doesn't Interrupt A Lady While She's Speaking - Where Is Your Chivalry? - by Alfred

It is bad manners to interrupt anyone while they are speaking.

A Gentleman especially never interrupts a Lady in Best Society.
However, if the Lady goes on and she's keeping you from attending to another matter and you really must go, you must being your sentence with "Sorry", "Excuse Me" or "Forgive Me", thereby apologizing for breaking into her sentences. Then you must give her a reason why (you have done so).

So, for instance if the Lady goes on, you could say, "Forgive Me, but I have an urgent matter to attend to attend to. I hope we can continue this conversation some other time."

That way you are Polite and let yourself off the hook.

You don't have to specify your reason for leaving, but you can't leave out enough of a hint of a good excuse so as not to give her the impression that you are leaving for no good reason or you find her conversation boring.

In another type of situation entirely.
If you are in a business meeting with a female co-worker and it's an open discussion and you want to interrupt her and destroy whatever suggestion or idea she brought up (as it is the nature of such meetings to be a battle of ideas, and which ever idea wins is the direction the whole company would follow).
You should being your interruption with 'Sorry' or wait for her to finish speaking.
Don't extend the same courtesy to men around the table. Be as tough as they are otherwise they would not respect your ideas and you give them the impression that you are submissive to them. So naturally, they think you should be submissive to their ideas.

We see women as women even around the business table.
We would never treat women as men, no matter how degenerate the ideologies that are popular become.

We are Gentlemen and we would always be Gentlemen.

Remember Alfredonian Etiquette is not to imprison self expression or individuality but to prevent the destruction of civilization by bringing order to self expression.

Why You Should Share This Post: So more men would stop thinking it's Ok! to interrupt a woman while she is speaking.

Rather Than Hate The Rich, Become Rich - a poem by Alfred

Crucify the Rich, Burn them at the Stake/
Punish them for succeeding, where the rest of us has failed/

Madiba Says - a poem by Alfred

Success awaits every man at the top of the hill/
But after she shakes your hands, you see another hill/
New hills grow taller if you pause to sleep/
Success has feet, she can just get up and leave/
A Real Leader must love this people more than he loves himself/
And be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for them/
He must be dead to self, and live for them/
Otherwise he might ruin them while saving himself/
Freedom doesn't mean having no chains on your wrists/
It struts forward to mean liberating others wrists/
So if you don't liberate others you're imprisoned yourself/
The walls are invisible but they are still there/
Education is the most powerful W.M.D/
To destroy the destruction of humanity/
Don't judge me by conquered Mountain Tops/
Judge me by the times I fell and got back up/
